Training

Leicester Triathlon Club supports a range of training events throughout the week, both during the winter and summer months. Our sessions are run by trained BTF coaches and is supported by the club coaching plan.

Swim:  If you need help with your swimming then the club puts on three coached swim sessions each week. Two sessions are based at Braunstone Leisure Centre on a Thursday evening, from 8th December these sessions will run simultaneously with some lanes of the pool being used for coached technique and the other lanes having an endurance focus. The other swim technique session takes place at Enderby Leisure Centre on a Wednesday night. In the summer months we also have open-water swimming sessions, with monthly open-water technique coached sessions.

Bike:  During the winter season we have a spin session, held on Monday evenings at Enderby Leisure Centre, and there are organised group rides.

Run: For running, many club members attend a track session that is coached by a person with a wealth of experience. As well as the track session many members join in the Park Run at Braunstone or Victoria Park, and there are often social running groups on Saturday or Sunday morning around Bradgate Park during the winter months.

We also have a Yoga class on a Thursday night, again held at Braunstone Leisure Centre.
