OPEN WATER SWIMMING STARTS 11th MAY

OPEN WATER SWIMMING AT KING LEAR LAKE

The first swim session of the season will be on Wednesday 11th May (6.30-8.00pm).  We are hoping lots of people will swim at the lake this year, so please come along and join us!

Next Wednesday 4th May, we will be carrying out the ‘safety swim’ and would be grateful for as many volunteers as possible to come along and help.

As before, we need people to sign up for spotting duty, without this we cannot run the sessions.  This season we are using the same system as last year – swim sessions will last for 1 1/2 hours and we need 3 spotters who will cover the whole session, and will be paid £12 expenses each.  We really need people to sign up to spot so that we can run the swim sessions.  All swimmers will be asked to contribute £1 per swim to help cover the cost of paying the spotters’ expenses.  Spotters don’t have to be members of LTC (but must be over 16yrs old).
