Leicester Flashman Triathlon 2008

The Leicester Flashman Triathlon is back for 2008 on 1st June so get the date in your diary. The event has a family friendly start time of 1300hrs and is run by the club enabling the cost to be kept low for you the triathlete, you will find it hard to find an event cheaper than our £21 entry fee! Our event is open to anybody whether you are a complete novice wishing to do your first event or a seasoned triathlete, or why not enter as a relay team and compete with your friends or family.

The event begins with a 400m pool based swim in the Lutterworth Leisure Centre before heading out on a 1 lap 18km bike course. You then finish with a 1 lap 5km run to the finish line. The course is not a fast one with only one athlete in the last two years going under the 1 hour mark so could you be the second under the magical 1 hour mark?

The event also hosts the second running of the Leicestershire Fire Service Triathlon Championships which will also include a Best Station Award as well as awards for 1st Male, 1st Female and 1st Relay team.
